XYPEX fills and plugs the pores, capillary tracts and hairline cracks which normally form in concrete with a non-soluble crystalline formation that becomes a permanent, integral part of the structure thus making it waterproof and protecting against the deterioration caused by aggressive chemicals. It can be used as an admixture or applied to the surface on either the positive or negative side (e.g. wet basements, tunnels, vaults, elevator pits, etc.). XYPEX is non-toxic and does not produce any fumes thus permitting its use in confined spaces without ventilation.
